and yeah, recently i am astounded by johnny cash.
it actually started so the other day, when i checked this katy perry's new video (not that i listened to her, it was pure curiosity since shane decided to make a spoof of the song) and there she used cash' cover of 'you are my sunshine' at the end of the video.
and so i checked cash's other songs and was amazed mostly by his voice. deep and distinct and you won't find many like his especially in this current decade. a kind of refreshment needed for perhaps an old soul.
and here i am, bringing out the 70s-80s country music to my room.
