#coffeestall part 2

and here i go, decided to list some coffee shops that i have explored and found, in particularly an order with number 1 being the most-worthy to be paid a visit again.

8. Castro's
7. Journal
6. Sensory Lab
=. Quist's
4. St. Ali
3. 65 Degrees
2. Campos
1. Seven Seeds

i wonder why and why. i no longer tasted the extra goodness of a coffee at st.ali. perhaps because now i have a preference?

prudent plan

and so yeah, i've finally come up with a healthy idea on how to satisfy the need to enjoy my coffee. the idea popped into my head when i was walking back from campos, enjoying my first cup of kenya gethumbwini and trying to learn to savor the taste. the fruity sensation was faint at first, but the last few drops were surely full of blackcurrant fragrance.

a journey to find a good coffee, simply put: a coffee hunt.

yes. which i'd probably do once a week, traversing around the suburbs just to sit down and relax, enjoying every drips of latte. i have a book, which most likely going to guide me to the place, but yeah, i can't wait to start the adventure. oh, and that means that i'm going to save up the money for this hunt which also means less money to be spent on coffee. i'd probably still visit them during weekdays, but not everyday perhaps, no, not perhaps, surely. once every 2 days hopefully is a good healthy basis.

now? back to study.

retardation

i need to cut up my caffeine intake...

the coffee's... killing me.

there's no comfort in flying

like it ever gets this hectic.

it's still monday but i can already feel the tension is building up in uni life. yes. assignments are due this week and i persisted myself to get back to the library to revise a few things in my essay. it was a harsh day, with a full schedule from 9 to 5 it never gets this tiring. resisting to treat myself kindly by overspending my money to grab snacks, i managed to survive. a cup of latte never does me wrong, so far.

indeed i am lethargic lately. it was and is hard to get my mind to fully concentrate on one thing although this is not quite the best time to be so. mid-term exams are coming up next week and i still need to do a lot of catch-up in my study. japanese vocab and grammar, the details of respiration process and photosynthesis, chair conformation of hydrocarbon and its optical activity; all these things mixed up inside my skull and to really focus on all of them at the same time? lately the brain just won't compromise.

although in terms of everything, i have tried to establish myself to this new daily routine. and also with the new addition of working out at the gym, it gives less the trouble and more color to my week. i can't wait to see myself become not-the-same old me and become more... proper and fitter individual.

ah yes. we walk alone and no longer together these days. it's nice to have memories when we strayed ourselves frivolously in a place totally new to us. but now that we have to take on our path ourselves, not that i wish to come back. paths unbranched and you will see no more than less.

i'd better log off now and start studying.

got me up so high

i catch a cold.

it isn't the worst one i have ever had, but it still pretty much ruin my concentration to do anything other than playing video games.
i supposedly start to look for a part-time job vacancy but feels lazy to do so in this current state. besides i have gym starting next week and i don't know how i'd be able to manage that along with the routine uni life, waiting patiently to give more and more assignments.

i stayed home all day and decided to get out later in the evening. i went to cumulus inc. just for the sake of getting something hot to drink. the place is definitely nice and cozy, a fine local bar quite far from the city centre but i enjoyed the walk to get there somehow. it was pretty crowded, so i guess it must have been pretty popular for the aussies. i got my $3.50 cup of latte and continued my walk around the city. the latte was a bit watery, but it had this distinct strong aroma within it. i could still feel the touch of milk inside my mouth although it was not that thick. it was nice, very distinctive, and worth the walk.

and now it's 1015 and i need to get to bed before my cold gets worsen. i promised i'll look for a part-time job sooner or later, as i've already fulfilled my promise to work myself out at the gym which will begin soon next week. uni life also awaits with more challenges to overcome and i need to spend my time wisely to keep up with the course.

it's not going to be easy, no one has ever said so. a conflagration, bring it on.
